Aftercare

Healing your tattoo properly is one of the most important steps in the tattooing process. Don't listen to your friends that think they know it all, I've heard some stories from people that are absolutely horrid that they genuinely believed to be a proper healing process. 

Listen to your artist, and follow those steps.

I will give you a very detailed healing process discussion after we finish your tattoo procedure. I do typically use Sani derm, and sani derm products for healing and aftercare. 

I have found over my years of tattooing that this has been the easiest, and most easily understood aftercare process in the game. 

I will apply a sani derm bandage to your tattoo directly after we finish the procedure. I usually recommend to keep that sani derm  bandage on for 5-7 full days before removing this bandage under running water. 

It is normal for you to have a build up of fluid underneath the bandage so don't panic! That just means it's doing what it's supposed to be doing, and your tattoo will heal properly and look the exact same way it did when you left my studio. Your tattoo will not scab, under this bandage and will make your healing process almost seamless. 

Some clients do have an allergy to the adhesive backing on sani derm products, so do your research on the product. You know your body personally better than I do.
